What do we do?
Parish Councillors are elected representatives who serve on a Parish Council, the most local tier of government in England. Their roles are varied but center around representing the interests of their local community and helping to make decisions that affect the area. Here are the main roles and responsibilities of Upton Parish Councillors:

Represent the views of residents in council meetings.
Be a point of contact for people in the community with concerns or ideas.
Act as a link between the public and higher authorities (like District or County Councils).
